I don't like lateness and I hate excuses.
I'm an early person, I like to get to places on time or a bit early.

Someone who is rarely late: It happens from time to time
Someone who is always late and full of excuses: They usually plan their excuse in advance and rarely have respect. They keep doing this because they know they can get away with it and sooner or later the person or persons they keep doing this to will eventually need to do something about it if they being pushed to far.

It depends. Are we talking 15-20 minutes late? If so, no problem (unless they're an EMT). If we're talking 3-4 hours late, there's something bigger going on and I want it fixed so it doesn't interfere with work. Employees have lives, and I want mine to have theirs straightened out before coming to work. Lost time can be made up. I'm more concerned with WHAT my team does than WHEN they do it.

traffic was a *itch to them.
I live in nyc .. cant be too mad at that. trains always having problems, buses too, commute is always bad.
-not an excuse .. it's reality lol. I have leave my house 1+ hr earlier then what my class starts so i can go to school on time. if it wasn't for all that traffic crap I'd get there in 30-35 mins. and even then i'd get to school late

That says to me that they disrespect me and my time. I will not put up with someone always being late. There is no excuse for it other than just plane ruddiness.

That they're really lazy or must have other important things to do and can't exactly be perfect when it comes to time.

they have a psychological need to be noticed, to be in control, events can't begin until they arrive. People are waiting just for them.
