You post a question here on Answers, and people will answer with the most ridiculous things. The ones that really get me are: "Um, I don't know. Sorry," and then there's the wonderful "I don't want to answer your question, I have my own little political tirade that I want to go on, get my point across, and get my two points."

This really makes me agitated... What makes people do this? Are they just so conceited that they believe that I want to read about how they have no answer, or refuse to answer my question and instead get obnoxious in a public forum so people can view their ignorance??

They are attempting to make you insecure in your beliefs. They feel if they throw a little something negative in an answer than maybe next time you want say something they disagree with. When in all honesty a argument with depth about there point would give you something to ponder. The truth is they don't understand what they believe in fully and someone told them they should disagree with anyone that says otherwise. Then the ones who answer with " I don't know" are simply getting there 2 points.

Maybe they are desperate for the 2 points you get every time you answer a question. If I'm right, there are a lot of people out there that really need to get a life!

Personally I think its all about the points...cause I have seen the most stupid answers given to a persons question that makes no sense at all.......I mean its one thing if its a stupid question but if it is seriously asked I don't know why people feel the need to answer with something foolish!

Either its not important to them or they want the points for answering something. just ignore them, as soon as you get rid of one here comes 10 more now can I have my points? what are they for anyways ( the points I mean)

Aren't they just trying to run up their number of points - although I don't know what that does for them.
