You don't want to do that. You will mess up the air/fuel mix and cause problems. Your better off buying a set of after market slip on mufflers and getting something like a Vance and Hines Fuel pak. That way, you call Vance and Hines and tell them what bike and what mufflers you have, they give you the code to enter into the fuelpak to get the right air/fuel mix for the bike. Punch in the code and ride. If you have the dealership do it, they charge you a bundle to install the pipes, remap you computer and up to 5 hrs on a dyno.
The Fuel pak is esay to install, and th pipes are too. Better to do it right than live to regret the problems you cause doing it wrong. (like a burned up engine and voided warranty)

Drilling the baffles out is probably illegal and will void your warranty. Be sure you want it louder if so buy after market pipes which sound good instead of just loud let your dealer install them and make necessary adjustments, good luck and safe riding

Man i know things are tight these days, but come on! if you drill the baffle out,its going to sound bad for starters, secondly, any guy that pulls up to you and sees and hears the fact you did that, and were too cheap to buy a slip on,theyre gonna ride your @ss,lol.Its a nice bike, fork out $400 and make it nicer.
going the cheaper route is a bad route when it comes to bikes bro.Vanes and Hines and Kawasaki have a long history together.

Radio Shack sells a sound amplifier that you carry in your pocket and wear the ear buds in your ear. You can turn the volume up as loud as you like without "entertaining" the rest of the neighborhood with your noise.

You can drill the baffles, but I promise you that it will sound bad.
