for myself, I hope the FBI detects and stops all of them, don't you?
Or did you have some political agenda you'd like to push here??

I see questions like this, and I just can't resist. I must have some masochistic streak or something.
Exactly what are you implying, that our government is going to "stage" a terrorist attack? Do you think that terrorist activity in the U.S. is all imaginary?
Obviously you never read that our vigilent government already thwarted planned attempts on the Sears Tower in Chicago, the largest skyscraper on the West Coast, as well as numerous bridges and dams. None of these plots are in the least fictional, nor were they easy to detect and prevent.
Do you think the war on terror is just some game the government is playing? How do you explain all the plots we've succeeded in foiling? How about the last attempt in England to fly planes to the U.S.? Is this some elaborate charade? Gee, if that's the case, let's release all those terrorists we've sent to prison. It must be true after all; they're just innocent goat herders.
And why do you assume a terrorist attack would favor the Republican chances of keeping the White House? Don't you think the Democrats would love to be able to criticize Bush's strategy by saying, "Look! We've been attacked again. The Democrats have a better strategy. Vote for us!"? As it stands, Bush has a perfect record since 9-11. Do you really think the Republicans would relinquish their main bragging point?

The terrorist want to make sure that a Democrat is elected because it is in their best interest. Therefore, there will be no attack until the next President is in office, regardless of their party.
If a Dem wins they will attack knowing they can get the publicity but there will be no retaliation. If a Rep wins they will do it out of anger and know that it will make the left-wingers go wild and continue to tear the country apart.
Vote Bill Richardson!

I think it will be after next years elections to test the waters with the next President!!!! They would want to see if they turn their backs on the war on terrorist like Democrats are doing now!

Hmmm. Hard to say. It'd have to be close enough to be fresh in people's minds. But no too close, there has to be time to let the fear set in.
