To JB I am not ignorant! I just work in a place where people spend way more money in one day than you will probably see all year, and I am also around people that don't make anywhere near that and there is a big difference between the two types of people, yeah there are some poor people that are cheap and complain but I guess what I'm trying to say is that they get the best of the best and they are so rude and complain about things that are so minuscule sometimes I just don't get it.

I've NEVER understood that. I used to work in a chic bookstore and this wealthy woman paid for her books, and it was raining outside so she told me she would get her car, and I could bring her the books outside- and if that wasn't bad enough, she kept me waiting for 30 minutes...then cruising up in her Jag to tell me, "Oh! I just had lunch, I forgot ALL about you!" Can you believe that crap?

how else do they stay rich, if they splurge lots and give it all away they will end up broke and poor. They complain because society lets them, society lets the rich get away with things that normal people can't, also don't foget that every word they say is in the media, imagine if your life was tracked and in the course of a day you had to wait 10minutes in line at the supermarket and had a whinge their, then when you go to the carpark some bonehead has parked too close and you can't get in properly so you curse at the car, then get home and your partner is asleep when he should of tidied the house or at least done something so you whinge about that. Normal life, isn't it? but then......you are now rich and famous and it's all over the papers, now you are the whingin rich *****, not the average joe. See my point....??

They think they can get whatever they want with their money, they think they rule society with their money, they hate people who don't have as much money as them. Basically, their life and thoughts are run by one factor: money. However, they will never know the true value of money since they have so much. They're cheap because when they try to make a deal with someone, they expect more, more, more, and if someone asks for more from them, it's an instant "NO" because the stupid rich person is afraid of parting with their beloved money. Sad, really, how their children will grow up to be shallow, stuck up, spoiled, and hated by their peers.
However, there are also many rich people who are willing to donate to charities and help others.

Because they're frugal and they know how to save their money. For them, there has to be a really good reason to buy something. Whereas poor people are buying stuff all the time.

They are cheap because- well, how do you think they got so rich? It wasn't blowing their money, that's for sure. And they complain because money doesn't buy happiness, despite popular belief.

Well I used to be in fundraising - and I was told that the rich didn't stay that way by spending their money :-)
Yeah - they're cheapskates sometimes. But you gotta love 'em. They usually leave their money to museums, colleges, and hospitals god bless 'em.

Perhaps because that's how they got rich and or stay rich? Poorer people tend to spend money more frivolously.

They expect everything for nothing and crab if they don't get it. And they're the ones who get free things. I heard an actor say he didn't care about presenting an award at the Awards Show, but at least he'd get a goody-bag. They're greedy.

because they want everything for nothing.....and they really think that there Gods greatest gift....gezzzz....a sense of entitlement.....and behave like the second coming or something....most, not all rich ppl are not cool!!
yes, everyone complains, but they b*tch about a broken fingernail and dumb stuff like that!!

The saying is to "live beneath your means."
They are rich because they learned how to live beneath their means.
