You and I ( I am over 58) hire a car and tour Europe going to every small town we can find. We connect with the locals and experience how they live, their likes and dislikes etc . We record all this, as we go. I can do that. I can then compile it into a book,sell it and donate half to a charity we both like. Better still would be to do a film , and sell that. I shall then buy a small cottage on the Mediterranean and live happily ever after!

Get on the road. Go around the world and find something that grabs you. I guarantee that you won't be bored. You'll meet new friends and see things of incredible beauty. Travel buddy. You'll never regret it.

EDIT;
Both the above answers have something to be said for them!
