I wash my motorcycle like a car with soap and water, and use a chamoise to completely dry the bike. I then use a special glaze called Pinnacle Polishing Glaze to wax everything on my bike including all the chrome. I have tried just about every wax made but this is the best I have ever used. It's about 30 dollars a bottle but is worth it. It can be found on the web site Autogeek.com.

I agree, S100 rocks!! just spray it on the entire bike, let set for 1 minute while you use a soft sponge to genlty wipe loose and bugs or bird poo, then rinse with a jet of water from your garden hose. ( follow the directions about not doing it in the direct sunlight or on a hot bike) then hit it with a chamois cloth and yer done. I also wax it about once every month cuz I'm really anal about keeping my $22,000.00 Harley looking like new. Buy S100 at the M/C dealership. Buy the detail kit first time, then just buy refills from then on. I swear by it, and Mothers brand wax

If it's really dirty, like bugs, mud, etc then I'd hose it down and wash it like a car. If it's really minor, just needs a dust off, then I spray with a mix of water with some soap in it, and spray that on and towel it off.
