I want to create a good Flash (or Flash-like) web photo gallery to put on my website.
I do not like the templates the web hosting company provides - they do not look like the rest of my site.

Thank you for taking the time to answer, but what I meant is that I want to create my own gallery (from my images), and put them as a .swf file on my site.

There are many many..most are either java based or phpbased which will allow you to mod the look.

But just do a search for "open Source web galleries" you will find a ton of them.

well what i use is a decompiler for .swf files. it simply converts the .swf to .fla. including the actions ect. ect.
so just find a flash website that you like. then save the .swf and convert.
also try to lookfor flashkit.com
