I don't think so.
I just think the growth is more noticeable when you cut a lot off as opposed to it being long and getting a trim.
Everyone is different though.

No, that's a myth.

Hair on the head grows on average 1/4 to 1/2 an inch per month.
But, each hair on your head does NOT grow at the same rate.

People with short (cut) hair often appear to have hair that grows at an faster rate.
This is because most people with short hair have less split ends than those with longer hair, and short hair needs to be cut often to be maintained.

No.
Hair is just like your nails. The nice freshly cut ends may feel and act better but there is no truth to it growing any faster.

Hair is dead. It does not know it has been cut.

If you shave the hair will EVENTUALLY grow back thicker, but not faster.
