pop or soda?
i live in minnesota, and i call it pop. for those of you who are big brother fans (US), on one of the earlier showtime shows, zach was playfully teasing nick about being from minnesota, and asked if he wanted some pop lol.
so what do you call it? and where are you from, if you don't mind answering? :)

Neither actually
I'm a native Southerner/Alabamian & all true Southerners will tell you that it's a coke, regardless of brand, color, etc.
If offering you a selection of soft drinks, a true Southerner would ask, "What kind of coke do you want?"
Some rural southerners do call them "cold dranks". (I've heard my dad & grandparents use this expression.)

I grew up in Huntington, WV calling it "pop". I've lived in MD for many years now, and say "soda".

you and many other northwestern states call it "Pop".
California and other western states call it "Soda".
Southern states call it "Coke".. no matter the brand.
and in the northeast.. they call it "Tonic".
