With the LSU boys taking over the middle-infield, where does DeRosa fit (certainly RF is a stop gap).

Ultimately, I think we should keep him in case Fontenot/Theriot get cold.

DeRosa 290-7-50 is having a decent year and I believe he would have more value to the Cubs than anyone they could get for him. I really don't see the Cubs making a move that would involve DeRosa this year.

Given DeRosa's track record as a good utilityman and nothing more and the fact that he's due $10.25 million over the next two years, I'd say he's pretty much untradeable, even if another team had some interest.

Never trade DeRosa. He can play 3rd, SS, 2nd, 1st, and right.. The guy can also hit. Now tell me would you give him away for the LSU boys? I don't think so.

i would definatley say no. Hes a good veteran infielder who has proven himself. I really like the cajun boys but this is their first season and neither of them made the roster at the beginning of the season.
