Is it any good and worth the hype? I don't get kids standing in line until midnight for a book even though it's good they're into reading. Opinions?

I waited in line at Border's last night at midnight for it. I stayed up all night until I finished it at 9:00 am this morning.

I've been into HP since I was in fourth grade (I'm going to be a senior this year) and I just felt like it was something I should do. It was worth it. I think that this is the best book out of all of them. If you don't read the books, you won't get the "hype" about it. If you're dead set on hating the books then yeah, you would think it's a total waste of time to wait for the final book, unlike those who have waited for the book for awhile.

Well, I'm just crazy. Yeah, I went and stood in line at midnight and got the book. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan/dork/nerd (call me what you will) so I might be a little biased, but I've only read a couple chapters and I think it's really good and totally "worth the hype".

We got ours last night at the midnight Harry Potter party at Barnes and Noble, and we didn't just stand in line, they had all sorts of fun activities and freebies while we waited. I read it already and I could not put it down. I thought it was really good!

no and no. I really don't get all the hype either. As I understand it, the books have been very well written. I personally don't have the time. I'll wait for the next movie. Hopefully it will be better than the one that just came out.

My daughter stood in line, the line STARTED at midnight. Borders had a party she said it was fun.

I have read up to page 251. I pick it up when she puts it down. It's good so far.

I doesn't even matter if it is good. If you've read the other 6 you just have to finish, in for a penny in for a pound.

i got it today at about 1:00pm, and my best friend got it this morning. i'm only on page 80, so can't tell you if it's worth it yet... but i'm sure it'll be good, all the other books were.

i dont get the standing in line at midnight thing.. not like they're going to run out of them. i got it today bc it's on sale right now.

I have it, but havent started it yet...Me and my sister are sharing a copy, so I'm being nice and letting her read it first, because shes sick...as long as she doesnt tell me spoilers1

I pre-ordered mine, so I didnt have to wait in lines all night.
