It should be. But don't forget the one's during President Clinton's terms.
It is important that we always speak up for patriots, on both sides of the political aisle. Those who protest, respectfully, legally, putting their country ahead of their personal ideology, are patriots.
Those who cheer, respectfully, legally, putting their country ahead of their personal ideology, are patriots.
Those who call our representatives names, act seditiously, attack our country on things the enemy does ten times worse while remaining silent about their actions, hate half our country, hate our government, spread unfounded rumors, only present half the story to avoid the truth, and who treat our representatives as "guilty until proved innocent" are NOT patriotic. They are unpatriotic. They are the 23% of the country that is not proud of the United States.
In a recent poll, 77% of U.S. citizens said they were proud of their country. That's a lot of patriots. Compared to all the other citizens polled of other nations? We were at the top of the list.
Unwarrented pride? I don't think so. Just put your patriotism ahead of whatever party you belong to.
We'll do fine.

Not too many people are left that support the politics and policies of the Bush administration. Let's be real. This administrration has had the Ex-Lax touch from day one. Domestically there's been zero legislation in favor of the environment, health insurance, general physical and social infastructure, education or anything that might in a positive way impact the American wage-earner. Then there's the occupation of Iraq.....a dismal and total failure. Pointing this out isn't bashing, it's a matter of objective reality....George Bush came into office to front for the oil establishment and the Christian right. I suppose he did a good job for them, but for the rest of our country? Bupkis!!!

There are a number of people on YA that can do nothing but bash President Bush, and Vice President Cheney. It is a turn off, and I am not going to respond to them any longer. I agree with one of the posters to this question that we should let them stroke each other. I have always supported President Bush, nothing on YA will change that. I think we should stop responding to the ignorance of some of these people. Thanks

I find sometimes the desire to support Bush more because the Bush haters are so blindly extreme.
If Al Qaeda are killed or captured they mock him.
If they grow more tentacles they say its Bushes fault.
Was it Bush that caused 9/11. I say no.
Does Bush get any credit for no attacks on the U.S. since?
If Gore was able to steal the presidency, how many attacks would we have had while Gore was trying to keep the temperature down a tenth of a degree?

The man has made some seriously bad calls. I don't hate the president. I do believe however somebody is pulling his strings. Then he is left to be whipped by the public. And yes some of his comments are off the wall, could be because he's frustrated. However this deal with immigration and the war in Iraq. He does have the power to at least end one of them. And seriously hinder the others progression. does some of his actions warrant impeachment? Thats up to the people, via the House of representatives. Learn to speak with your reps ppl. You may be surprised sometimes what they can do. In my personal opinion. The MOST POWERFUL part of our govt, is the US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. They are the direct line to the ppl. They are also the group bestowed with the power to impeach.

identify IX is the main anti-male regulation ever. look it up. Edit: What u . s . do you reside in? Do you even difficulty to study or watch the information? Universities everywhere in the country are being compelled to shrink athletic classes purely to fulfill the "quota" set out in Tile IX. Does that harm adult adult males? D'uh, confident it does.

My support for this President has never wavered. I can only control my thoughts and hopefully pass some information along that will get them doing their own homework, as I take the words of some I read and I do my own research. Fence sitters are keeping their options open. It's the ones who never get off the fence are the one that are sad.

No I don't find myself resolved to support the President more. For the same reason I don't find anymore reason to support AL Queda when questions are designed to bash them. For the simple mature reason that it doesn't matter what the person doing the bashing thinks, the fact remains that ones being bashed either deserve or don't.
Please grow up.
Edit: Thanks for giving me more reason to think highly of myself by criticizing me. Using your line of reasoning I'm sure you understand why that is.

Yes on all accounts! People are more intelligent than given credit for and these bashers don't seem to realize this. My mother hates Bush with a passion but she doesn't get into bashing cause she says it isn't easy being a president and so on. I think a lot of people think this way.

Undoubtedly.
The President deserves little or none of that.
Like always in these cases, it only makes those tossing the knife look incredibly foolish.
