I live in Wisconsin, and a lot of restaurants here has a Friday Fish Fry. Some people tell me that Wisconsin is the only state that has a Friday Fish Fry, is that true, or do other states also has a Friday Fish Fry?

No, here in New Mexico a lot of restaurants specialize in fish on Fridays. There is a strong catholic population here so a lot of restaurants do respect the no meat on Fridays rule that many catholics follow.

My restaurant was in Iowa, and I always held an all you can eat fish fry on Fridays. It was really popular, even with people who didn't observe Lent.
