Dobby is helping Harry and a few others to disapperate from Malfoy Manor. He managed to take a few. Then it was Harry's turn. Bellatrix Lestrange threw a knife at the place where they disapperated, the knife landed in Dobby's chest. They get to their location then Dobby dies.
-Read the book to understand more since I didn't really explain good.

Dobby dies when he is rescuing harry and friends. When harry steals Bellatrix's wand she throws a knife at harry and Dobby flings himself in front of harry right before harry disappersates

Dobby dies when he helps the man characters to escape from voldermort and his death eaters. When they notice this, Bellaxtris Lesstrange (or w.e her name is) kills Dobby. :(

I'm not really sure, cause he Disapparated with Harry who was holding the sword, then they landed and the sword had run Dobby through somehow.

You have to read it for yourself. He was killed saving Harry's life, but that's all I can say !

Dobby dies when Harry beats the cr@p out of him for being such a complete pain in the @$s. He is the Jar-Jar Binks of the Harry Potter series and deserves to die.
