I trudged through the grass as I swatted away swarms of combee and beedrill. Weedle nibbled at my shoes and caterpie wouldn’t stop sniffing me. I captured a beautifly and butterfree. I also caught a dustox. I caught many ninacadas but I also ran into a ninjask. I scaled a rocky cliff. When I got to the top, I had to face a nasty spinarak and araidos. I saw a spearow fly off and land on a branch above me. I called to its friends as it feasted on a wurmple. I went closer and heard a hootoot and noctowl hooting in the distance. The constant chatter of pachirisu annoyed me but I walked on. Mothim chewed away at my backpack but I got my snorlax to freeze them with blizzard. I kept walking and stumbled upon a misty waterfall. I saw little poliwags swimming around, splashing and having fun. There were some magicarp flopping around and trying to swim up the waterfall. A psyduck waddled along and plopped into the water. I decided to take a break from my walk. I took off all my clothes and jumped in. then something bit me. I jumped out of the water and yelled. A magicarp had bitten my “family jewels” and was still hanging on. It hurt so much. The magicarp probably mistaken it for a fishing lure. I just jumped back in letting it hang free and cool off in the ice water. I sighed and swam for a little. I decided to get out and keep going. I gathered some berries before I left, and then I got dressed. It was hot, and my shirt was drenched with sweat. The forest a large place, but I needed to find a shiny pokemon and I was bound to find one here. In a pack of swablu, I noticed one of the swablu seemed to be different. Instead of blue, it appeared golden. I jumped in excitement and sent out my snorlax. I used yawn and put swablu to sleep. Then I used my gallade and used thunderbolt. After that, I threw a pokeball at it. I watched the pokeball rock in anticipation, sweat rolled down my neck, time was a blur, the world seemed to spin. The ball finally clicked, It was all mine. I screamed “YEAH, I GOT A SHINY!” at the top of my lungs. My journey wasn’t over, for it had just begun.

Parts of this was a true story. Only the pokemon were animals when I was in my back yard. I did have to swat away bugs and I went to my uncles cabin my the lake, so I decided to not wear any swim trunks (it was only my boy cousins and me) and a fish really did bite my “family jewels”. There will be more stories coming soon. Rate it please.
