With my daughter we found out at 15 weeks, but we were only given a 70% chance that it was a girl.. At 18 weeks however it was confirmed that I was indeed having a girl.. I am now pregnant with baby #2 and we found out that we are having a boy when I was 18 weeks.. I am now 28 weeks, and it is still very much a boy.. Generally however doctors do not like to order an ultrasound untill you are closer to 18 weeks to find out the baby's gender..

The baby is devloped enough to tell by about 12 weeks. However, this is usually still too early because of the baby's size to get an accurate view. Most doctors do scans around 20 weeks, which you can tell the sex of the baby, the main purpose of the 20 week scan is to make sure everything is developing well with the baby & they do measurments of everything. However, some doctors do scans earlier or later. The earliest I've heard of someone finding out was 16 weeks, I personally found out at 17 weeks. Ask your doctor at your next visit when he/she does ultrasound testing of the baby, it can vary on the doctor. Good luck.

Between 16 and 20 weeks you should be able to tell. This will also depend if baby cooperates...had a hard time with both my kids. In the end I had to wait. Which was alright, it made it kind of like Christmas to see what was wrapped all this time.

about 20 weeks, the baby is bigger and easier to see in ultrasound, you'd have a better chance of seeing if its a boy or girl
