I just switched my service to verizon not even a week ago. I got the LG VX8300, a two year, basic, 450 minute plan plus texting. I text a lot and this phone isnt the best when it comes to this. is there a way i can trade my phone, get a discount, or do i have to wait.

If you switched to Verizon Wireless service and got a LG VX8300 then you have a 30 day return policy to get another phone. However if you are past your 30 day as a new customer, then you would have to pay the retail price of any phone that you would like to upgrade. There will be no discounts given to you until your contract is close to an end.

YOU ARE CURRENTLY PROTECTED UNDER VERIZON WIRELESS' WORRY FREE GUARANTEE! You are able to exchange your phone and/or accessories if your not happy with them. You can request a refund (if you request a refund...then Verizon's test drive will come into play!) Just request to exchange it for another phone. Then you pay the price difference (unless phone is cheaper than the 8300, then they refund difference). I recommend the enV for texting. They are able to charge you an ESN change fee of around 25.00 but they may choose not to!
