They never seem to go hand in hand... or do they?

Is one just a biproduct of the other?

Personally, I will never suffer from either! I did not inherit the alcoholic tendency, and that has been proven by experience, time and time again. Also, I am spiritual, but not religious, and I also believe that all spiritual paths are valid, even if I don't personally agree.....and that there is no such thing as only one true path. *sm*

Here's a thought, "Choose This Day Switch One You Will Serve, The Bottle or God" and see how far one or the other takes you.

Alcoholism, as an escape from the atheist vs. christian (verbal) battles. People believe different things, we should respect each other and behave well when asking about/responding to different perspectives.

Both of those things come from not having the strength to be who you are. People who are alcoholics are weak and so are people who are bigots - religious or otherwise. We live in a world where people should respect others and their beliefs and not call someone names or accuse them of things based solely upon how they look, what sex they are, or their religious beliefs - or lack thereof. It's time to learn tolerance and respect of those who are not exactly like you!
