my favorite routine is when i have the house to myself for the night, when everyone is gone:
1. open a bottle of red wine and run a bath with lavendar
2. take a LONG bath with no kids knocking on the door, no one fussing that they want the bathroom. enjoy my red wine, catch up on some reading and even have two pieces of dark chocolate while soaking the day way.
3. wrap up in a bathrobe and make my way to the kitchen. i always make curry when i have the house to myself because my family hates it and the smell takes up the whole house.
4. snuggle on the couch with my favorite book, a steaming bowl of curry and my dog, dr. bitchachi!
5. clean up, have another glass of wine, light some incense and off to bed.

My Saturday morning routine is this... sleep til 8. Make coffee and get on the computer until 9. Work out from 9:30-10:30 at Jazzercise. Stop at the grocery store on the way home. Come in and make a little brunch. Eat it while watching HGTV. Shower and do some housework, read part of my latest novel. Take a short nap and hit the thrift stores. Come home and unpack all of my newly found "treasures" and get ready for my hot date. The rest is private but much more exciting.

The only routine I have at the moment is going to work 8 hours a day 5 times a week. The rest is up to my children. Never a dull moment and loads of fun. I am blessed.
