Why do people always act as if they are doing you a favor and you know that they aren't?

They exspect you to believe this ! What kind of fool do some people think we are ?

It's just a style designed to get you to sound grateful. They don't mean it, they know you don't mean the gratitude, but they got you to play their interpretation of the situation. Next time just say "no thank you."
