Have you tried doing some simple maintenance?
1) Adjust head alignment.
2) Nozzle check.
3) Head cleaning.
These are all simple tasks that are done "Automatically" with just a few clicks.
If you're not sure how to do them....just have a look at the manual that you will have got when you bought your printer.
Whenever I've had any printing problems, I've just carried out the maintenance tasks I've suggested and within a few minutes, the problem has been resolved.
(I'm assuming your inks are not empty).
Give it a go!!!!

You may try to remove the printer cartridges and clean the area. I had to do this myself with my printer, although not an Epsom. It is safe to use a q-tip with alcohol solution to remove any "gunk".
Hope this helps. Oh, and then after cleaning, place the printer cartridges back in. Duh to me.
