Yes. In high school, I did fail history in grade 9 and never took it again, which I know is not a grade. I did fail grade 13 because I didn't buckle down enough. Even when I did it the second time, I almost flunked 13 again. This was back in 1975 (June) when I finally graduated high school.

Ontario has since dropped grade 13 from its high schools. This may have been about 4 years ago, but don't quote me on that one.

no, when i was in school, i never failed a grade. in fact i graduated high school early with honors. now, i am a elementary education teacher and push my kids so that i do not have many failures at all...this last year, i had none.

I did once because our family moved so often that I did 3rd grade in 4 different schools in one year. when we got established in ONE town I got advanced classes and got to jump from 7th grade to 9th grade. so everything was fine in High School

funny you should ask this. I just got a letter from the school and i got held back AGAIN. i have failed 5th grade and 7th and i am going to be a drop out.
