"Life can only be understood backwards
but it must be lived forwards....."
as a sentimental person, i cant help look back at the past..
not to find pleasure reminiscing or dig up "what could have beens" to build up a monument of regrets,
but to Learn, to Grow, and appreciate where ive been..
the people the have helped me come to terms with my real self
as they say "Dont bury the past, plant it"
and with that knowledge i have accumulated
are wonderful nuggets of wisdom i treasure..
to help me move forward in life.... to be more cautious for things i faltered to in the past, to be more appreciative of things i took for granted before and be able to use the time given to me at the present... for i may be given a second chance..
if not, be able to be more accepting of what i need to lose
in order for me to move on with my life...
with renewed hope, renewed meaning...
a resfreshed outlook with a better sense of direction.
=))))))))))))

A poem I wrote:
My Domain
Place your mortality at the door
And enter my domain in peace
You can hear my tiger roar
But she is a friendly beast
I no longer live for the world outside
In my mind I have created a dream
Where there is no need to hide.
In the distance you may hear a stream
It will show you the way to me
Follow it to the end and drink
Below the surface you will see
The key that will not sink
Open the door and step inside
All my dreams have come to life here
Enjoy all the fruits you will find
For at the door you left your fears

Treat people as you wish to be treated.
I know this isn't some amazing quote, I could think of better, but for now this will do. I think that if everyone in the world were to think about how they are treating people, there would be a lot less evil. I have a lot of philosophies on life, this is only one of them :) Cool Question .

Hi Moon:)
Have a wonderful weekend!:)
A very nice question, for my life the best philosophy quote is;
" Give a man a Fish, feed him for the day,
Teach him how to fish, feed him for the day!"
This quote really impressed me a lot!:)
" The Universe is full of magical
things patiently waiting for our
wits to grow sharper"
:)
Have a wonderful weekend!

I know enough to know that I have a lot to learn,I learned that I need to Live life loving, being compassionate, and being present in every moment. Never run with a misunderstood thought, and never stop dreaming, and always express gratitude. Continue to wake up each morning with conscious , positive thoughts for the day at hand setting the stage for what ever God has in store.

Be careful what you wish for. It might come true.
We are taught to do what we want and to do what makes us happy. Many people have learned the problem of living a life in this way.
For anyone who wants to be happy, be careful, it may come true and you are likely to regret wanting it and working to achieve it.

"To have a body without a soul is to have nothing more than an empty shell. To have a thought without an emotion is to have an empty process that has no more value than a body void of spirit."
