Any other country that refused to comply with United Nations Security Council resolutions from 1967 until now would have been at war had they not been Jewish. And yes, there is a difference between being Jewish and being Zionist. It does not make you anti Semitic to bring to the American people's attention that Israel is costing us more then we spend on all public programs combined, yet republicans are upset about welfare and don't want universal health care. It is *patriotic* to bring the nations budget problems to attention, and Israel is a budget problem. It is unpatriotic to send federal funds to foreign countries like Israel, that is welfare for the state of Israel which does not contribute to our economy.
It's a matter of favoritism, there are many countries, like the Philippines and Rwanda that could use our support more. Then at least we can tell our children that there is not enough in their school budget, because starving homeless kids are getting aid. Not because some wealthy Israeli kids are 'God's chosen people'

And hiding behind the statement "I'm only anti Zionist and I'm not anti Semitic" and then proceed to whine about how they are being accused of Anti semitism is a great defense mechanism for anti Semites, no?
In such a case, anti Semites can continue their anti semitism with impunity as long as they are careful to never say "Jews" and "Judaism" and make sure to say "Zionists" and "Israel".

No different to you using the same argument to back your opinion. You're negating anyone who disagrees with you. You are determining what is "legitmate", what is an "outrage", what is "performed by Israel." Israel - the country or population? If population - the Jews(79% pop) or the 1.4 million Arabs (20% pop) that live there or the 300,000 Christians? "or by selfish Zionists." Are you referring to individual Zionists who you think are selfish or are you calling all Zionists selfish?
I think you're confused. Check this site: www.lookisrael.com and learn something.

It's a convenient and bogus smear against the critics of Israel. No country is above criticism, least of all the apartheid state of Israel.

I've noticed that questions/answers about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict get very heated. I think the distinction between criticism of a nation's policies and religion gets lost in the fray sometimes. It seems to be happening with this question too.

who do you think came up with this B.S.term of P,C, it was instituted primarily to keep anyone from saying or complaining against Israel and Zionism, even tho they said it was to protect blacks, hummm? some people would rather have their daughter marry a black or even become a prostitute rather than for them to be labeled anti Semite, or prejudice, how ever it is in the norm to be prejudice against the whites, fact is it is the in thing these days ,just listen to our so called liberal professors,

It is biased and bigoted behavior to constantly and persistently attack Israel and Jewish people for their supposed outrages when the "other" Semitic peoples, the Arabs, have constantly attacked Israel since the very beginning.
Why no criticism against the Arab people, just the Jews? If you were to be fair, and you tallied up the behavior of both sides, you would see that Israel is rarely, if ever, the aggressor in this struggle, and that the Arabs have committed serious atrocities against a sovereign state numerous times without provocation.
