First of all, the word is Apologize, not Apologies.

Secondly, when will the democrats apologize to the troops for convincing Al Qaeda that if they can just get enough beheadings and bombings on TV, we as a nation will cut and run? Im SURE that's helping the war effort and supporting the troops.

Thirdly, regardless of the whining of democrats everywhere now, we all moved forward on the same information regarding WMD. Democrats relied on the very same information when they voted for war. Are you trying to say that all the Republicans got together and formed a conspiracy to lie to all Democrats about WMD? Because that's what you're blaming them for. I think you could probably guess what I think of that logic.

Fourth, it's typical of a democrat to agree to a war (democrats voted in favor of the war too) and agree to a plan the efficacy of which will be reviewed in September, and then immediately undercut that surge by shouting as loudly as they can that the Iraq plan has failed. If anyone should apologize, it's you for trying to further splinter this country into sainted democrats and evil republicans. Its simplistic, and your rhetoric is completely flawed.

Not everything wrong with the world can correctly be blamed on republicans.

First, it's APOLOGIZE - not apologies. If you're going to be hateful and snarky, please use proper grammar. Although, I have a suspicion that you're not American, in which case it's none of your business.

Secondly, when will Clinton apologize? He stated that Iraq had WMDs many times, plus he didn't do anything when Iraq repeatedly violated the cease-fires and treaties they signed with us after the Gulf War.

Failed plan - sorta the Republicans fault - mainly for trying to appease the left and not going in there and kicking *** from the get-go. But Congress ALSO needs to apologize. Guess what? Not holding my breath.

Vet hospitals - in spite of what the media would have you believe, the vet hospitals have been in bad shape for quite some time. Only a true partisan (or an idiot) would blame all that on one party.

Have a nice day!

I do not see a need for any one to apologize. The democrats as well as the republicans approved the war. The troops have not said anything needing an apology. The troops need for the US Congress to let them do what they are trained to do. This is not suppose to be another Vietnam. Our troops can defeat any country or terrorist if left alone.

As a vet, I am not mad at republicans. The country decided to go to war based on intelligence reports that virtually everyone agreed on not just republicans and not just American intelligence- get over it. It is alright to disagree with the war but drop the BS. What soldiers are mad about is democrats who agree to allow a surge and a September report then a week after they agree to give it time they start attacking saying it isnt working- not one new soldier was in place yet. VA hospitals are in need of repair (some of the) but guess what? They didnt fall apart yesterday.

Republicans (and Democrats) won't apologize to the troops; the most arrogant, contemptible, incompetent, evil, greedy, cowardly, corrupt Republican-led Congress in U.S. history stood by and did nothing as George W. Bush ran ripshod over our Constitution, the UN Charter, and the Geneva Convention when he unconstitutionally, illegally, unjustifiably and immorally invaded another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States.
An equally arrogant, contemptible, incompetent, cowardly, evil, greedy, corrupt Democratic-led U.S. Congress has done absolutely nothing to stop this insane war as they promised they would do if we elected them!
Both parties must share the blame, allowing U.S. troops to continue to die for the sake of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. Anyone who believes this 'war' was about bringing democracy to Iraq, or defending our country against an 'evil empire', or establishing peace in the Middle East is naively mistaken.
From Day One, this war was about OIL and WAR PROFITEERING so that a handful of wealthy industrialists and elitists could get richer and richer and richer at the expense of the U.S. taxpayers.
If you really believe we'll be out of Iraq anytime soon, WHY is the U.S. building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad, overlooking the 'new' Iraqi puppet government installed by the Bush administration??
If you really think we're going to leave Iraq, WHY has Halliburton been contracted to build fourteen (yes - 14) permanent U.S. military bases in Iraq?
We will be there until we've sucked every drop of OIL out of the sand, and until the Carlyle Group and Halliburton have drained the U.S. taxpayers dry. -RKO- 07/21/07
