get a cotton ball and put a little water on it. then just hold the rabbits ear and press and wipe. then the rabbits ear will be fine.

What is wrong with your rabbit's ears? What does the problem look like? Healthy rabbits should be able to keep their ears clean, although lops sometimes have problems. Sometimes unusual gunk in the ear can mean they have ear mites or a yeast infection. If you clean them by yourself without being shown how, you could accidentally do damage. It's best to leave it to a vet and have him show you the proper, safe way to do it.

Yes, it is very unusual to have to clean rabbits ears. If you see any crusting or discharge, you need a rabbit knowledgeable vet to help you determine the cause and proper treatment. As said above, it is easy to damage the delicate lining of the ears if not done correctly.

If your rabbit appears to have dirty ears, you need to get it to a vet. If it's a middle ear infection, which is pretty much the only thing I can think to relate to when it comes to dirty ears, it can lead to very ugly problems like rye neck.
