What will it take before you open your eyes and realize you are duped? What has George W Bush done for you that you would lie to yourself and deny the obvious truth?
How can we help our conservative friends to come to terms with reality?

Those Democratic quotes are years before the invasion.Years in wich extra inspections were in.That's intellectually dishonest

And I don't make excuses for Democrats who voted in favor of this failed war. They shouldn't have but still Bush is the Commander in chief and used the authority they gave him.
That being said the Democrats who gave permission to go to war to this administration were wrong. That's not my question!

Most of the ones left who still believe the rubbish will never change their minds. You could hold perfect proof up in front of their eyes and they'd still deny it as liberal propaganda or something equally stupid. These far right folks are seriously self deluded.

Madeline Albright said before the re-election of Bush that he was holding Bin Laden and would announce it on the eve of the election.Dems keep repeating that bush lied enough times that indies have started to believe this garbage. What did you think b4 the war? Something probably changed your opinion. Joe Wilson lied about Sadaam seeking uranium. He was trying to get it. His wife did recommend him for the assignment. Joe was going to be in John Kerry's administration. but Kerry lost.

Your words "Even now conservatives nonetheless declare that wellbeing reform could create dying panels and that Iraq posed a sparkling and contemporary risk. look adult adult males - the jury is out on those themes. there is not any debate." If the jury is out on those themes, how is there any debate? That seems to be 2 opposite statements interior the comparable sentence. If the jury's nonetheless out on it, would not it look there continues to be a debate on the difficulty? Or am I purely lacking something?

To say someone has lied, you must know what the persson knew & didn't know.
Bush recieved mixed messages & he chose to believe the information that would lead him in the direction he wanted to go. That is poor leadership, but not neccesarily lying.
Judging from the 27% approval rating, about half of the people who voted for him believe he is doing a poor job.
Why are you so concerned whether they believe he's incompetent or that he's evil?

No need to admit to being lied to. We can admit that based on 20/20 hindsight that maybe things could have been done differently but just because we dont agree with something doesnt make it a lie. Put your blind ideology aside and relax a bit.

Theres you're answer, they either pretend it didn't happen, bring up some unrelated Clinton quotes, or pretend the words Powell and Rice used meant something else. You wouldn't think it was nice to live with you're head in the sand all the time, but it must be. So many people here do it.
