Neither. Think about it why are you wasting your time cutting trees or mining rocks. If you are a member why would you waste money to do that.

Woodcutting if you are thinking about becoming a member later on...(at level 75 woodcutting you can cut down magic trees which sell for 1k each)

Smithing if your thinking about staying non member, although mining and smithing takes a loong time to get up and doesnt get you much money..

I would go woodcutting

Woodcutting because yews logs are at a lower level than runite in mining .
Yews lvl 60 worth 300
Runite lvl 85 12k but theres only 2 places to get them

Mining cause woodcutting is way to long and you dont get that much cash, also imagine a yew log is about 1k in members world a rune platebody is 50k

I would go mining. It's a lot more fun, and if you don't care about grinding your skills ALL DAY LONG to get anywhere, you'll get quite a bit of cash.

I no longer play Runescape because it wastes your life away, plus it isn't exactly the most exciting of games. Seriously. You stand there watching your character whack away at a rock.

We all need Runescape help at some point, whether it be Runescape clue scroll help, treasure trail help or money making help, everyone needs a little bit of help with Runescape at some point. Unfortunately so many people don’t know where to turn when it comes to getting help with Runescape. So I figured I’d take a few moments to outline a few of the better ways to get Runescape help depending on what exactly you are looking for help with.
I hope the site can help u

Ä° will prefer wc. i am 44 minin and 39 wc. it is hard lvl upping mining. also smithing gets very hard lvl up though when u get a high lvl at smithing and mining prefer that (but if u have at least 31 wc choose wc. if mining and smithing is low choose wc. its easy to lvl up at wc. if only ur mining is high, id prefer wc (because at mining if ur lvl is about 45 when u try mining they always get the ore before than u. choose mining if its about 55. in wc at least u get 2 - 3 logs each time)) yesterday morning my wc was 19 and at noon i made it 39 wc. its easy to lvl up wc and it gets more money: my 40 K that i got from mining was from 552 iron ore and many different coal givings. now i have a deal with someone. i willl cut them 5K willows and he will give 250 K $. so id prefer wc.

that's not true woodcutting is THE BEST.

at least when i played 2 years ago it was haha.

my friend made 5m a day cutting magics, and i made like, 600k a day cutting yews.

(we "were" nerds and geeks back then, but he played three times as much as i did, and now we're skater its kinda funny)
