i just wonder where can u find articles relevant to King Lear in modern society. Web site would be very helpful .

I've never really searched this, but one thing you might do is try a search on "King Lear" and "Elderlaw" or "King Lear" and "Planned impoverishment".

Basically, Lear turned his kingdom over to his three daughters, figuring to live with each in turn for the rest of his life, and died homeless.

Part of Elderlaw is Planned Impoverishment, so that an elderly person doesn't have assets enough to disqualify them from government benefits. This is often done by giving it all Inter Vivos to their kids, and guess what, sometimes the elderly that do that die homeless.
