Am I the only black person that would agree that some whites are still very racist. Is it any one out there that has been discriminated against because of there race.

of course they are and here most of all, mainly due to the fact that they can hide behind their avatar after and don't actually own up to their own words, which is why i never give them any credit at all. how's it going to mean anything if it's coming from some generic pin-head with a cartoon head. do what i do laugh at them leave a comment letting them know you find them laughable and move on to the next activity

While I agree that there are still racist whites, there are also racists of EVERY color. I have friends of different ethnicities and consider myself open to new people and ideas. That being said, as a white girl, sure, I feel discriminated against because of my race. There is no United White College fund, I never qualified for financial aid in college because my father made too much money (and he really didn't) but my fellow Hispanic and Afro-American students whose parents made more money than my dad all qualified for financial aid. You just deal with it. If we had "white" attached to anything (like "White Magazine" or The White Entertainment Channel), it's racist yet every other race can get away with it (Ebony, Jet, etc.). The list goes on but I take it from where it comes - ignorance. We all just need to stop talking about stuff like this - move on - There are always going to be people who will not accept you for your color, your nationality, your religious beliefs, etc. If you know who you are and are proud of it, screw anyone who thinks differently! Respect yourself, respect others and accept that there will always be those who just don't get it. Let's get over it already! This is exactly why this crap still exists! MOVE ON!

No, you're not. I've been discriminated against a lot.
The reason why people are racist is because their friends or family "brainwashed" them I guess. A bad education usually always starts ignorance. Then, ignorance causes racism and discrimination just because they're afraid of people that are not like them, or barely know about.

I don't think that it's just White people that are racists. I have met quite a few racist black people. Any person of any race is capable of being a racist. I think it is completely up to the individual to be open-minded and to not judge others that are "different" from them.

i agree...im not black but i do agree there are still a lot of white people living in the past...sometimes i cant believe why people would be so racist....when i went to the immigration section of yahoo answers i saw so many questions and answers that were very racist against all hispanics....im a legal hispanic citizen...but those people just hate on EVERY hispanic..there was this one person who even incinuated a plan to put people in concentration camps!!!!! i couldnt believe it....i was outraged

im white i do admit that i have some discriminations, but im NOT RACIST . i can find humor and laugh at our differences. but a lot of others cant and are racist, but thats their loss. they will miss out on a lot of good relationships with a lot of good people.
i dont know if its just my opinion but there a lot of racist black people too and its ignorant to always ask why WHITE people are racist , instead ask why is ANYONE racist.

Racism knows no color nor boundary, there are also people of all races that are racist against other races why? That I cannot answer.. Myself do not understand it I view people as two types. Good and bad, color, religion, creed or sexual preference makes no difference, we are all the same, individuals yes but basically all the same. We all love, hate, cry, laugh, bleed and care.It is a shame

There is much truth to many of the answers that have been submited before this but the base truth is that many white people retain a
bad stereotype of blacks because the news media almost always has reports of crimes
comitted primarily by blacks and few srories
of the good done by many of them.

well im white but no ur right, its sad to say that there are alot of white people who are still racist which makes our race look horrible, but u can count me out, im not racist at all...my parents brought me up right

well, i am a white girl, but i do find alot of white racist people. i dont understand it either. im wondering when people will realize we all breath the same air, walk, talk, and have feelings. im raising my son the way i was raised. to judge people on their personality, not the color of their skin. i would never tolerate my son judging people by their color. we have friends of every shape, color, and size. friendship is more important
