Both, considering they both make completely different music, as for the person above saying that Soad sings songs about the government and such, maybe you should actually read the words to some of SK's songs, as they do also.
They also sing about being your own person and not following along with everyone else like a herd of cattle, that seems to be a pretty important thing in my book as I try to teach my own kids that they don't have to be like everyone else.
If I had to absolutely choose one I would choose SK, because I'm a huge fan of them.
To the person above who said about their giving a speech about good parenting, their music has nothing to do with their families, at least 2 of the guys do have kids (Corey, Shawn) and both of those guys have teenage daughters, maybe they want other parents out there to wake up and actually take care of their kids, instead of leaving it up to everyone else. Just because they make the music they do, doesn't mean their own kids listen to it or are even allowed to.

I can see the rest of the people answering are sh.it talkers who dont know a ******** thing.
Soad and Slipknot are 2 very different bands. Slipknot giving it the thrash, death m,etal style heavy sh.it with the rapping at times. While system of a down deal in a very eclectic multi influenced sound from ethnic armenian tunes like certain parts of soil of the first album, death/thrash metal pick and choose, sugar for instance, ballad type songs like spiders and and lonely day.
Both bands are not one dimensional by any means but both bring some awesome tunes. Added bonus personal faves by both bands. Slipknot - Eyeore , system of a down - darts

equipment of a Down has an excellent larger following. I additionally want them to Slipknot; there is in basic terms a pair of Slipknot songs that i for my section relish. can not watch for Soundwave the two; which venue are you heading to?

System of a Down... Their songs have message that are good for people to listen to. Slipknot talk about stupid as$ $hit. System talk about corrupt government propaganda the media etc... They are a good band with talented musicians who aren't sellouts and Have good message in their music.

i would have to say system of a down but slipknot does kick *** even though at their concert they gave a speech about good parenting. go figure.
