hi my mother has had regular tank gold fish for 3 years now they are pretty big but how long do the gold fish live? does my mom have super gold fish or what

The oldest on records is over 40 years, but 15-20 is typical for a well cared for goldfish.

15 years is average, many Goldfish die because people get them and don't care for them properly. Putting a Goldfish in a bowl is a death sentence without a trial.
