WTF? Are you serious. Hmm. Let's freaking compare. Clinton 8 super propserous years (wiped out the deficit, encouraged education, low interest rates, the techno boom hit, etc. . .) and 8 peaceful years (we went to Bosnia willingly, had a few attacks but no one was scared of their own government because of it). Bush - 8 years of tax breaks for the richest 1% of the USA, largest terrorist attack ever - and not only has he not gotten the people who did it, recent reports point out that Al Queda has never been stronger, his daddy and VPs company and industry is the richest it has ever been while we pay $3+ a gallon for their pockets, an entire city of people drowns and he doesn't lift a finger, oh - the deficit is back - yea it is in the trillions again, the dollar is the lowest it has ever been, and your phone, your house, your email, your spending habits, your *** is tapped by the feds cuz its necessary to keep you safe from who? - his business partners. Are you freaking serious!? Your comparing these two? Seriously. One was a decent if not imperfect president. The other one is a monster and criminal.

An honest question that deserves a more thorough answer than most people are giving it. Clinton at this point had been impeached, but then not removed from office by the Senate. He was largely popular but could do very little in the last two years of his term because the strong opposition Congress. Although he came in with lofty goals, Clinton had largely had to fight Congress including the budget battle. Although Clinton won all of these battles, he couldn't get much else done. A success in foreign affairs where he didn't have to fight Congress as much, he was way too limited domestically (thus, no health care, strong crime bill, or other actions).

Bush had the opposite problem, a willing and able Congress that rarely questioned his policies (until recently). The result was that Congress was less of a check than a supporting branch. For good or bad, this led to some poor decision making in domestic and foreign affairs.

Whereas Clinton couldn't make any mistakes, Bush could and did. The difference, I think, is that Clinton won all the battles he had to face. In contrast, Bush has not won a single major battle (whether this be Social Security, Immigration, or other issues). In sum the answer I would say was Clinton. Whether this was good or bad is up to the individual, but I would say Clinton was a better executive branch manager at this point in his term.

Well, let's see. At this point in Clinton's Presidency, we were at peace, had just seen our first budget surplus since Andrew Jackson's administration, (Which was the only time the US govt hasn't been in debt,) and General Prosperity, as opposed to growth without prosperity was making a big comeback.

And, out of 440 allegations made by Judge Starr, at a cost to the taxpayers of $50 million and several dangerous precedents regarding the rights of witnesses and the accused, the only charge that stuck was that he lied about a BJ.

Dubya? Well, it depends on how rich or Religious you are as to whether he's any good or not.

Well, Clinton only screwed over one wife at this point in his presidency, while Bush has screwed over the wives of every soldier he's sent to his quagmire.

Bill Clinton paved the way for 9 /11, while Bush has spent the better part of his administration preventing it from happening again. All I can say is, Lord help us if we elect a president in '08 who's weak on national defense. Otherwise, there may not be an America left when it comes time to elect someone else in '12...

In my opinion, Bill Clinton was a great President!!! Yes, he made a sexual faux paus, but aside from that, he was a great President. Did you know that the person who publically prosecuted President Bill Clinton was himself carrying on an affair while married? Now that is hypocracy!!! May God bless you.

I don't even see how they could be compared because of the circumstances throughout the world. Everything is different.
The Clinton Epics dealt with personal matters and the Bush Epic has almost exclusively revolved around headhunters.
