Nice. Seriously nice.
Keep it up.
I am a democrat. I respect the focus that Republicans have. It isn't my issue.
Any vehicle needs gas and brakes, no matter what direction it is going.
I treat fellow Americans as patriots until they prove otherwise by putting their personal ideology ahead of their country.
I actually support our war efforts, but my respects and support go out to those who respectfully protest our President's goals and policies.
I save my contempt for those who don't know the difference between that and sedition (which is no longer illegal, but is still contemptible).
I have no patience for political bigots, any more than I would any other kind of bigot.
Even with my dislike of socialism, I see no reason to hate socialists.
It's time we patriots on both sides of any issue began to answer the political bigotry we see around us. 77% of Americans are proud of their country Time to be heard (let them speak, as they have free speech, too, but we can always answer them!)

What I would like to say is that people should put the labels aways- especially party labels and do what is right for the country not what they think is good for their parties/own political ambitions. Today the dems are more concerned about gaining political power than in completing the mission in Iraq. On some issues it is republicans putting their own interests first and yet others where the dems again put their own pursuit of power above what is right. Politicians are pathetic but people allow themselves to be dragged into the fray making for a divided nation that serves no one.

i'm uncertain how the conflict on drugs is dealt with. once you notice people on your community merchandising drugs, do you call the police? if so, do they arrive immediately and arrest the drug sellers? The county I stay in had a genuine push to freshen up the medicine. First, while drug sellers have been stated, they have been merely watched for months to make certain the place the source became. In yet another around some years later, they set up the sellers to sell drugs interior of one thousand ft of the college to get them on stiffer expenditures. Then i spotted there have been loads of meth labs around. you need to make certain the white smoke at nighttime in any course. They used airplanes to discover and capture those people. Now many are utilising pharmaceuticals besides. Oxycontin and others. perchance having ex drug addicts talk to all junior intense scholars in assemblies approximately what utilising drugs did to their lives might help those teenagers to assert "no" to drugs. no longer something like a dose of actuality.

It's been around for a long time but never to the extent it had gotten in this war. I personally think it started when the President won the election, then, the people still sore about it went balistic when the President decided to invade Iraq. The liberal media pushed it big time that it was the Presidents war happening to leave out the democrats part in it starting the whole mess. Just my views.

The modern Democratic Party is much less likely to be comfortable with the use of military force than it was 40 years ago.
And the Republicans are far less likely to be isolationists than they were 70 years ago.

The Republicans started that spin as some sort of patriotic lure to get meat head voters.
Fact is- Republicans need war so that their ideology makes sense.
Democrats don't need war and they'll do whatever it takes to avoid one, illustrated by this JFK quote, "A wall is better than a damn war, any day." Refering to the rising tensions with USSR over Berlin.
Republicans may be the party of war and military, but they rarely serve a rarely comand successful wars.

Well, the war in Iraq is the foremost issue in most Americans' minds and is therefore the cause of much disagreement.

since the GOP/conservatives are less prone to abstract thought they are prone to need labels to define things, I'd say it was the CONs who started the spin
most GOP would say I'm a "raging liberal" but I'm actually more conservative on many issues than some self-defined "conservatives" I know
for me it's more about just knowing what is right and wrong in terms of being a spiritual entity within a human body, not a political monkey - it's not about classifying people and then rating them - it's about ensuring freedom for all people

Liberals. Rosie, Sean Penn, Jon Stewart, Charlie Sheen, Martin Sheen, Alex Baldwin and a host of other hollywood elite. They started and continue to run their uniformed mouths because they have a venue when the average citizens does not.
