Just request a virgin drink it means No alcohol! Also make certain to order a tall when ordering your drink. That way it lasts longer.
If you don't specify tall, most places will automatically give you a short. They make more money that way by keeping you ordering more.
As to fitting in, order a cola or a club soda with lime or an orange juice with just the fruit on it.
Many mixed drinks such as a singaporsling are made with orange juice.
Just ask for virgins of any mixed drink.
Such as a bloody mary made with tomato juice and vodka and a dash of tobasco and a celery stick would be a virgin mary without the vodka.
Fuzzy navels are orange juice and peach schnapps. Order a Virgin Navel
Rum and cokes are rum with cola. Nobody would know you weren't drinking for real!
Gin and tonics are clear. You could drink ice water or sprite and nobody would be the wiser. Only the waitress and bartender would know for sure.
If someone see's you and wants to buy you a drink the waitress lets you know and you just request more of the same thing you are already drinking.
Mixed drinks can also include the ice cream drinks which are like a regular shake except they are served in either a martini glass or a tall drink glass.
Much depends on where you go and how extensive their beverage menu is. Sometimes you can even ask them to make something special just for you! Just request a virgin drink.

Drink soda & just chill. You aren't going to have very much fun at a bar if you don't get drunk. If I'm not drinking I need to be doing something like playing a board game or some group activity. Start drinking...it's so much more fun. Maybe you could learn how to dance from a dance school or something. For example, if you like county learn how to line dance, or if you live in Miami learn how to Salsa.

I am also a non-alcoholic, so when I go to bars (which isn't often) I drink Sprite! And, I don't care what others think! I'm only there to pick-up Chics, anyway!

You don't have to do anything to "fit in". Just order a soda or other non-alcoholic beverage, and socialize as you would at any other place.... Don't feel awkard just because you don't drink.

you just basicly go there and be yourself and get what ever you want to drink with or with out alchol. You can drink alchol and still not be an alcholoic. So it just depends on you to be yourself and yourself to be someone that would fit in that bar that your going to.

Drink water with ice in it and tell everybody it's a gin and tonic.
Gin is clear like water. Just don't let anyone taste it!

if I were you i'd get a virgin drink and order something to eat...it is hard to go to a place where everyone else is drinking when you are not non-drinker...socialize and have fun that way you fit in!
