Well I love life and I know everything there is to know, so really if you want to know, I knew that you wanted to know this, before you wanted to know this, the reason knowing you then I already knew it, so now you know what I knew, and now you know, what you need to know!!! Hope this helped, but I already know that it would help, so now you know that, I already knew, that you would know after I told you what I knew. So yes I know that you need some more help knowing the thought of needing to know everything, but there is no way that you will ever know everything, like me, so really do not ask me to explain this more, I know you are cofused and I know that I will really never be able to explain everything to you so have a good day. Which I already know you will.

You seem to imply that knowing "the truth" is a bad thing. Besides not everyone lives for a mystery. I think knowing for sure would make life even more interesting. OR at the very least it might provide more incentive to try harder.
I do want to know everything I can. That's why I read and study and contemplate what I've learned and reflect on how it applies to my beliefs. I've been doing this for many years now. I think I know the truth, at least I've come up with something that works for me and answers all of my questions. Without contradicting my scientific principles or my spiritual nature.
I'm not dead yet, so I guess I still have the desire to keep living.
Gotta see how this thing plays out.

If I knew everything, I would certainly want to live for a relatively long time afterward. The harder questions are whether I would want to use my knowledge to enrich myself or subjugate others. I imagine both of these options (which look very attractive now) would be less alluring if I had that kind of wisdom; On the other hand, a truly omniscient person might be able to do a lot to improve the world, but that might require total power to achieve....

If I had all the answers, then I would understand why some people need mystery. I would understand the nature of boredom and why some of us have chaotic lives to avoid boredom.
If you understand boredom and the human mind, life doesn't need to be a mystery, always fun, or always challenging.

Knowing everything means God never changes. That would be boring. Knowing the truth doesn't mean there isn't lots of work. Boredom is demanding knowledge, getting what one wants, because God knows more than you even if you think you know enough

Your question is very good ans simply said God will always give us questions, he will give (and gave!) us discoveries we never dreamed of ever knowing and seeing with our eyes. God will always give us new things to discover, some things we will discover and some maybe never. God gave us this because God loves us, he doesn't want us to get bored and so on. So actually there will NEVER be a possibility that we know everything, only God does.

My decision would be informed by whether or not there is such thing as an afterlife.
