to my gramma 5 years ago...then she got a computer and loved it so nothing since and what is a type writer?

Wow, its been a while ago. But I'm planning on writing my brother a handwritten note later in the evening because I feel like we've really lost touch over the years. Nothing is more personal or says I love you like a handwritten note on nice stationary.

I love the idea of using a typewrite I 've used one before and it's been months since I've written a letter.

handwritten.. um sometime in may cause i wrote my friend a note during class and i used a typewriter not too long ago but i was just messin around on it

Every day I handwrite letters since I work with Native American Inmates...it adds a personal touch since we have gone all high tech...things like handwritten letters and going round to visit are becomming things of the past....shame really

sadly as it is, i haven't used a typewriter since i was in high school and the last time a hand wrote a note was about 2 days ago to let my husband now the plummer was coming this morning...

It is becoming a lost art, I agree. But I still do, write letters and also use a typewriter. And send greeting cards just to say "thinking of you". Believe it or not, there are still folks out there, that doesn't have a computer, are we to forget them, just because they don't use one?

Handwritten........last night actually.
Sometimes it is more personal to sit down and write a letter plus when your writing something the receiver actually knows that it is coming from the heart and that you thought enough about him (or for you guys....her) to sit down and write to them instead of typing an email.
Gets him every time............

about a month ago. i was writing a bunch of thank you cards for my graduation gifts. probably the last time i used a typewriter was almost 8 years ago. i took a typing class and they actually had us use typewirters. it was just before they bought computers for the lab.

i have such an old typewriter [...i need tape.] but i love it! i believe the last time i wrote a letter was on my bestfriend's birthday. and i used my typewriter about a week ago.
