He has the tools to become one. He does not have the supporting cast to get him the hardware right now. If he doesn't get hurt like Culpepper, he has a shot to become one of the next greatest quarterback.

No, even asking this question right now is a slap in the face to all the other proven, great quarterbacks who are playing and have played this game. I don't care that he led the Titans to 6 striaght wins and almsot made the playoffs, HE DID NOT PLAY WELL!!! Has everyone else forgotten how BAD he played in those games? It was his TEAM that bailed him out and got him those wins. Well in case you all did, let me refresh your memory:
VSPhiladelphia, he went 8-22 for 101 yards 1 TD
VS New York, down 21-0 with 10 minutes left, it took an ENORMOUS meltdown on New Yorks part to give them that game. No I don't want to hear about Vince winning it, Eli Manning threw the game away (literally) on those INTs, had it not been for the overly protective rules for the QB, vince would have been sacked and the game would be over.
VS Indianapolis, it took a 60 yard miracle field goal to win the game.
VS Houston, he beat them in overtime (big appluase for beating the Texans)
VS Jasksonville, he couldnty even register a 100 yards on offense, and took 2 INTs for touchdowns, a Punt Return for a TD and a Kick Return for a touchdown.
VS Buffalo, They had a chance to kick the field goal and beat Tennessee, yet chose to go for it like an idiot and make Vince look like a hero in a 30-29 win.
And last but not least his overall stats: 2199 yards, 12 TDs, 13 INTs, a 50% completion percentage, not to mention 12 fumbles while rushing.
So before you people even think he's better than Michael Vick, Vick has better stats than these, Vince Young just got flat out lucky in these games and benefitted from a good surrounding team. His accuracy stinks, he can't read a defense, and i'm sure most of you VY lovers didn't notice out there, 90% of the time he looked for his first receiver, then took off. He is NOT as great and ANYBODY who believes he's a top 10, let alone one of the "great" quarterbacks in this game seriously needs a reality check.

I'm not really sure I understand. Vince Young is 30-17 as a starter, so to call him a bust would be simply inaccurate. Here's what I do know: Cam and Vince have similar skill sets, but the one thing that makes Newton better is the leadership quality. Already Cam is winning over the Panthers, if he hasn't won them all over already. Same with Auburn last year, it took him one day to become the leader, the ra-ra guy. As for predictions.... I can't tell you. For all I know he could be a Bust in Canton or just a Bust.

Greatest in a group consisting of who? Hey David Klingler was a great quarterback in college as well. Andre Ware, Ryan Leaf, Gino Toretta, Eric Crouch, Jason White........... If that is the group we are talking about then okay he may be the greatest of that group.

He sure is in a class of them. I think the future belongs to him and a group of talented young quarterbacks including Phillip Rivers, Matt Leinart, Alex Smith, Jay Cutler, and J.P. Losman.

No. He lost his two best receivers from last year in Curtis and Wade. He also lost his starting running back Travis Henry. Mobile quarterbacks like Young start out great and fizzle out quickly. He cant throw very well and is going to get hurt running around to much.

Vince young is overrated he hasnt done anything and this year he's going to do worse than last year because he has no WR's. He's going to be the next Vick.

overrated he will get hurt this year. Is he on the Madden cover this year if so he is really screwed. He only threw little over 1k yards last year. You might call me crazy but I think VY is overrated and Reggie Bush is overrated. Bush is not a true RB. The only person I think is underrated is Mario Williams. But nobody is going to admit when Young and Bush falls off the map that the texans made the right pick picking up Mario Williams
