Trying to get Mr Brown to give us the promised referendum?

and thinking about trying to sort out all the problems in our country put me in mind of that song, you know, the one about the ant and the rubber tree plant. I cant remember all the words but the ant managed to push the rubbertree plant. Anyone know it?

Gordon is a man of fixed opinions and the belief that he knows best. He will not go in for any contest which he thinks he might lose and even the sycophants he surrounds himself with will have told him he would lose a referendum. He would have to be dragged crying and screaming to the idea of the British people being given the referendum they were promised by mendacious Blair, which promise Brown went along with.
