When I looked at the numbers last month, the Gallup Poll showed President Bush's job approval was at 32 percent, and Congress was at 24 percent. Could things get any worse? Of course they can. Never underestimate the power of the Democratic Party to self-destruct. The first job approval numbers for July are in and the Reuters/Zogby Poll shows Bush at 34 percent, Congress at 14 percent. Under Democratic leadership, Congress has gone from the brink of the abyss and leaped. Whee!

Until our troops are withdrawn from Iraq, Jesus Christ would have a poor rating...

It is NOT a Democratic problem. They are playing the hands they were dealt by the corrupt and self-serving Republican dominated Congress who spent years sitting on their butts doing NOTHING except kissing their leaders a*** and "yessing" him, giving him anything he wanted.

Now, many of the Republicans have been booted out, others will go in the next round of elections and the idiot in the White House will be back in his spider hole in Texas. Then, the new Democratic president and Democratic controlled Congress can start cleaning up the mess left by that bunch of thugs and liars.

Typical of Bush......his Mommy and Daddy have been cleaning up his messes all of his life. Now we, the people, will have to clean it up.

Doubtful.. I don't think Hillary or Obama will handle the war one bit better than Bush even if people claim he's a liar and stuff.

Even if they just pull out of Iraq the future isn't going to be pretty for us and the middle east.

I am in favor of forgetting the polls. Concentrate on encouraging your elected representatives to do what you want them to do...such as secure our borders.
