Well there was an article in the Buffalo News Friday saying that Peca wanted to go back to Buffalo and that he felt that he would be good for the team and that he thought he would act as a good leader but not as a captain and that his agent talked to Darcy not particularly about Peca but about signing any other advalable FA's and Darcy said that they are going to stick with who they have and finish signing who needs to get signed so it seemed like they werent interested
My thought is that it would be really cool to have him back especially since he wants to come back and if you read that magazine called HockeyNews there was a pole that said Buffalo was the least wanted place to play so if we have one FA that really wants to be here maybe he will play better because he would be happy with his decision and not wonder if he would have liked it better somewhere else

the guy left Buffalo to get paid more money. peca is a sellout. why would someone want him on the sabres team? he's terrible. he's old and he isn't half as good as he was when he first played with the sabres. that's why the islanders gave him to the leafs, and that's why the leafs got rid of him. he's been bouncing around teams, including the oilers, because he is no good to an NHL hockey team!! he's worthless. the sabres organization should be ashamed if they sign him.

There's a 95% chance that Peca will go back. Now that they lost Briere and Drury, they have cap space (barely!... because of the brutal Vanek signing!)
The leafs need to let him go and realize that they won't win the cup with an entire roster of 35 year olds.

could happen. Leafs haven't tied him down yet and he wants an answer soon. He still lives outside of Buffalo so it isn't a stretch. But is Peca going to help that club all that much. They really need to get themselves a number one guy.

It is said that he has more interest in the Sabres then they do in him. He is another guy I could see landing somewhere that hasn't been involved in rumours.

General manager Darcy Regier doesn't seem to be interested in signing anyone right now, so I can't see it happening.

i doubt it. maybe some offense starved team, and i dont think the sabres are interested
