Description
Rookie Wrestling is a group dedicated solely to the discussion and photos of Pro, Indy and video wrestlers, Past and Present, using the Rookie Gimmick. Gimmicks are the wrestler’s persona like Hulk Hogan or The Undertaker. The rookie gimmick is where a new youthful wrestler comes into an area and takes on the old pros. The rookie is usually clean-cut in good shape, most of the time attractive and a crowd favorite. This gimmick provides for lots of in and out of the ring scenarios and is one of the more believable gimmicks in wrestling when done well. The rookies gimmick when done correctly tends to build fan bases quickly and bring in new fans to the federation.
Instead of the tired old photos in many other sites, we will be displaying entire match photo sets so you can view the match and how it happens and how the rookie gimmick is used to frame a match. Members can comment on photos, favorite moments of a match, how the wrestlers played their parts or add photos. All wrestling comments are welcome but lets limit comments to the topic or photos.
The wrestlers in our logo are the main one’s you will see but not all. They are from the top back row: Shannon Moore(WCW/WWE) Tommy Rogers(Everywhere) Alex Wright(WWE) Shawn Simpson(WCCW/Texas) Eric Watts(WCW) Flying Brian(WCW) Chaz(GWF Global/Texas/ESPN) Hakim(JPWA) Kris Chambers(Indy Pro) Kevin Von Erich(Texas WCCW) and sitting down in front, Brian Kendrick(WWE) and P.J. Walker/Aldo Montoya(WWE).
Since the average match takes up over 150 to 200 photos, there will be lots of pictures. Massive viewing of these photos will cause degradation of the bandwidth Yahoo allows and pictures may become blurry or not loadable at all. If this happens try back in a few days and you will get better pictures.
