I very much doubt there will be a second American revolution in the Uniform States of Automatons.

During World War I, someone asked about a possible revolution in Germany, and the reply was that there would be no revolution, because in Germany, all revolutions are strictly forbidden.

In like manner, there will be no second American revolution, because in America, all revolutions are strictly politically-incorrect.

For me, I know the very first thing I would do is stock up on those gift cards from Starbucks. I love frappicinos in the summer and cappicinos in the winter and if a revolution did break out I'm sure our currency would be worthless so Starbucks would have to honor their own gift cards. Probably Home Depot cards wouldn't be bad either for all the building stuff you would probably need.

I'm dubious that a population that sits on its fat *** and is spoon-fed Paris Hilton contentedly without complaining could rise to the challenge and hardships a revolution would impose.

Americans are soft, both physically and mentally. Even the poorest among us are content with what they are given.

Do cows and sheep rebel?

I would give your revolution another generation to foment. When people really see how terrible the policies of their current order are, when there are serious food shortages,
bands of roving crazies and overt government malfeasance
(I mean even more graphic than we already have), people might be moved.

stockpile guns, combustibles and make sure i have alot of "gang member" and "drug dealer" friends - those with alot of experience with real-life urban tactical maneuvering

the next American Revolution is going to look alot like the L.A. riots did - but with alot of nerds behind the scenes wreaking havoc in the virtual world

and as with the first American Revolution, and the Civil War, and well... every war throughout history - the Conservatives won't stand a chance

a revolution is a thing which doesn just happen and for a widespread outbreak of radical thinking in that manner to impose itself in three years is a little far fetched- most cases - a civil war is so severe it takes decades of massive break downs before it happens- sometimes even longer.
