Hi! I want to seal papier mache boxes (just inside) to make them waterproof. Any ideas? How can I do that? Is silicone a good way Where can I buy it?

Paint the inside with acrylic paint. Apply several coats.
Mod Podge with Clear Acrylic Sealer will also work.
Michael's has it all.

You could try sheets of clear mylar, like the kind you would cut stencils from, and silicone. I buy mine in the pet store, it's labeled as aquarium adhesive.

there is paper mache powerder you can get at any supply craft store, hobby shops, and hardware stores. just follow the directions on how to make the mix. as far as making the box, I hope you are talented it looks hard.

Melted wax. Melt different coloured candles and then spread it over the boxes using a pallett knife.

they sell this waterproff spray in sporting goods stores that is made for shoes. i would assume it would work on your boxes too

cover it with lots of layers of pva glue

Try spraying it with spray starch
