If we ever get of this planet and aliens do exist we'll probably get around to meeting them sooner or later. But I think it's much more likely that we'll be the ones landing on their planet, instead of the other way around. The simplest explanation for the fact advanced aliens haven't dropped by to say hello by now is that if they exist they don't know that we do. Our sun is just one among billions and easily overlooked.

Suppose you are in a school, and you had to visit a classroom and help the kids with their homework. Among many classrooms, you find one in which all the students are trying to destroy each other, the things around them, and descend the entire room into anarchy and chaos. The children are corrupted with hate, intolerance, and greed.

Would you visit that classroom? I wouldn't.

Now, think about it in the planetary prospect, where each planet is comparable to the classroom. If I were an extraterrestrial group, this planet would be low on the visit-list, high on the "Exterminate for their own good" list.

Our almighty creator, Jesus and the other angels do not live on this planet> they are out there where ever heaven is.
From this extraterrestrial spot they decided to make earth and the first two people. Who were blown away by a woman.
Let this heavenly place and came to earth and married women. Are they the only ones out there? Look out into space, it is limitless, could it be there is no one out there?
that would be harder to believe than that there is.
Even on our own planet, people were shocked to discover Australia. The animals were different, the original Aborigines were different. It was not at all what they expected to find.

The probability of aliens from space landing on Earth is close to zero. If they ever do, it will go down in history as the most important even ever recorded.

Maybe. I am 99% sure that we are not the only inteligent life in the universe, but I am only about 50% sure that it is even possible to travel intestellar distances. But the SETI people are convinced we should be able to communicate with them by radio. That is probably how we will prove their existance eventually, if we ever do. It is impossible to disprove their existance.

i happen to believe in life out there, so i think its just a matter of time, but i am also not so pompous to believe that my way of thinking is the only way of thinking, if we are alone in the universe than never, i'm thinking if it happens it will happen in about 100 or 200 years when our ENTIRE planet matures, no alien is gonna land and get shot at, even if they have like shields or something, who needs that grief?
