Today we begin our “Read A River” Challenge. Each class has chosen a river to read. One minute of reading will equal one mile of the river. For example, if a class has chosen the Mississippi River, which is 2,348 miles long, that means the class will try to reach their goal of reading 2,348 minutes. Our Reading A River Challenge will last for three weeks.
