I have one female guppy and about a month ago, she had baby fry. I was only able to rescue 2 of them, as the others were eaten by the other fish in the tank. I put them in a breeding net, but yesterday she had another set of guppies. I rescued 3 of them this time. When I put these in the breeding net, I noticed the other 2 older fry were chasing and biting the tails of the newborn. I'm afraid that the older fry will end up eating/hurting the newborn. Yet if I put the older litter outside the breeding net and into the tank, I'm afraid that they will be eaten by the adult fish. Should I worry about the older litter harming the newborn fry?

I wouldnt worry about the older fry chasing the young ones, and the older fry should be able to go into the main tank now. As long as they are big anough not to fit in the other fishes mouth's. And plants will provide cover.

my fish had babies recently. i got 7 from the first and 4 from the second. if the sirst set are over a month they can probaly be ok in the real tank. i would watch them and make sure two things they dont try to get down into the gravel, and dont get eaten by the fish. another option is i no they make the breeder things with a divider so you could purchase that. i think the month old fry will be ok in the big tank though.

yes, you will have to worry about the older ones eating the younger ones
Recommendation:
Get lots of real plants for your tank, that way you can let the older ones out and they can hide from the adults
That way, you provide also enough surviving spots for future fry

Hope that helps
Good luck

Old guppies eat their young, separate them.
