Obviously, he is not a fan favorite due to his on-going "heel" role as the obvious bad-guy/cheater/whiney type of superstar; but we have to face the facts that he is WWE's most decorative champion right now on the roster aside to Ric Flair. Behind his in the ring and off the stage antics, look at his accomplishments and his success. He is a tremendous athlete and literally always puts his body on the line when he wrestles. Vince obviously brought him to smackdown to boost the ratings, and they actually did. Edge is a great spokesman, actor, and athlete. And the only wrestler in the last 20 months to defeat Cena 4 times.
What do you all think is in store for him when he comes back from his injury in 4 months? The belt can not stay in Khali's hands...that is obvious!!!!

The way he acted last night on Smackdown after relinquising the World Heavyweight Title, I don't think he deserves another shot due to his attitude. If he ever wants a shot at the World Title when he gets back, two things he should do:
1.) Become a "face."
2.) Lose the attitude!
Yes he is a tremendous athlete who puts his body on the line, but with the way he acted last night before he vacated the title, he let out one of his rants & tantrums & took it out on all the fans. I would say this to him if he was in my presence: The WWE doesn't need whiny crybaby losers, so suck it up for once!

sooner or later he will incredibly be considered a legend. He has achieved lots in the WWE, why could he not be considered one? yet staggering now i could basically evaluate him a great wrestler and performer. His profession is a few distance from over and while he does end wrestling this is while he would be considered as a legend.

He'll be back as the dominant heel, and he'll be in title contention. He's great in his role as a heel, and I don't see any reason why he would lose his spot due to an injury.
