< Iran Arrests 14 Squirrels For Spying
Rick Moran

Via Memorandum, Ynet has the exciting espionage story of some highly trained, stealthy rodents who were caught entering Iranian territory. Or maybe they were left wing squirrels and only wanted to surrender:

Iranian intelligence operatives recently detained over a dozen squirrels found within the nation's borders, claiming the rodents were serving as spies for Western powers determined to undermine the Islamic Republic. "In recent weeks, intelligence operatives have arrested 14 squirrels within Iran's borders," state-sponsored news agency IRNA reported. "The squirrels were carrying spy gear of foreign agencies, and were stopped before they could act, thanks to the alertness of our intelligence services.">>

Maybe these guys could patrol our Southern Border. If they can catch 14 squirrels maybe they could catch a couple of illegal invaders. God knows they would be better than what we have now.

Perhaps we should have used flying squirrels. Much harder to capture.

Cute bit about the squirrels.

But saying Iran has nuclear technology is like saying children in school play with lasers.

Laser pointers are not the same as military lasers that can cut through steel. Nuclear power plants are not the same as nuclear bombs.

We might suspect Iran of developing nuclear weapons, but (1) we have no proof, and (2) there's nothing anyone can legally do about it because they are a sovereign nation. Just like nobody can order the US not to build weapons.

i might wish that the people and British might by no ability honestly use our Nuclear arsenal against yet another u . s . a ., yet lots of the worldwide places at the instant attempting to get Nuclear power, would desire to be classed as a splash risky would desire to we are saying politically - protection is vulnerable in those comparable worldwide places - Any nutter would desire to get in, push a button and leave the international for the cockroaches. in my opinion i might like each and every Nuclear weapons to be dismantled around the globe - No component in triumphing a conflict the place the planet is long gone...

Israel should get on the ball and take those sites out. The head Nut Job has already publicly stated he would destroy Israel if he had the means and once he has the means I believe him.
I know the more liberal and progressive of you don't think so -- he couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't -- whatever the guys a total psycho bent on the return of the 7th century. He's hated in his own country but (shocker) he's a de facto dictator that wants to destroy the world to bring about the return of the prophet.

as Cora said, we have no proof i agree, but we need talks and inspections to ensure it don't happen. Iran has a right under the NPT to have nuclear power, but by signing the NPT Iran agreed not to have nuclear weapons. They do have the right to withdraw from the NPT though. I think there is nothing to worry about Ahmanejad(sp?) will not be reelected.

For those that don't know, there is plenty of proof that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. Most of the help is coming from China. China got help in the 1960's from Russia on how to make and build nukes. And Russia got the knowledge from U.S. spies (Julius and Ethel Rosenberg). Those U.S. spies were executed.
